Zoning Board of Appeals - March 27, 1997Ferro (42-1-2), Lakeshore Drive. After much debate, a variance was granted to erect a covered porch with the provision that the structure remain a porch and not become living space. If the porch is to be enclosed, an additional variance will be required. Ody's Inn, (61-1-15) - request to extend their hours of operation. The time to reach a decision on this variance had expired. Because of this, the Zoning Board unanimously decided it was necessary to hold another public hearing before a decision could be rendered. A special meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 7 pm. Silver Bay. Mr. Harmon would like to erect a 2 car garage and is requesting a 9' variance. He explained that while this variance would place the structure to 1' of the property line, options do not exist for him to erect a garage in any other place.
