Child Development

Research for infant, toddler and preschool aged children has concluded socialization and enhanced learning environments have an incredibly positive effect on child development at these ages. When a young child is exposed to this advantage it gives the child a head start in his/her development if it is done in a safe and properly balanced environment. Children entering kindergarten without this type of learning experience are commonly behind in their development. Whether your child may attend the Community Child Care Center or not, please take the time to come see our environment. We will be happy to provide you with resources, introduce you to State programs that allow ALL children under the age of 18 years to have health insurance or give you a tour of our center without an obligation.

The first day of our fall season is Thursday, Sept. 4! Please contact Helen Barton (543-8833) if you would like information about the quality learning and child care program we can provide your child. We accommodate learning environments for infant, through preschool aged children Monday through Friday 7AM - 6PM. Our goal is to provide a stimulating and creative experience in a safe, warm and comfortable environment in which each individual child can develop positive relationships with learning, children and adults.
