Property Owners of Silver BayEleven members of the Property Owners of Silver Bay patrolled their portion of Rt. 9N on July 24, picking up all the trash left by the side of that road. The group included Mimi Behr, Nick Bolton, Stan and Cathie Burdick, Ann and Hank Geils, Mac MacDowell, Stu Parlin, Gerard and Eloise Van Heest, Lee Van Sickle. The sign-up sheet was passed as part of the meeting of the Property Owners held on July 17, at which Dan Belden updated the members on current projects and concerns of the town. The Burdicks led two "mixers" to help those attending become better acquainted with their neighbors. A short business meeting was conducted by Harold Smith, president. The next meeting will be on Aug. 21 at 7:30PM at the Community Center. The planned speaker is a member of the NY legislature. The report of the nominating committee serving under Paula Hartz, chair, will be received at this meeting. . .
